On September 9, 2006, the TG (except Nicole) went down to Pasir Ris Downtown East for one purpose. Nicole was unable to make it due to some commitments in school which we should not blame her.
HuiQin, AiFang & I met at Bukit Panjang so as to take Bus 67 to Tampines Interchange. This is not a good solution to go to the east unless you have a cushion-feel-like butt and a plenty of time to spare. AiFang was rather high and happy during the trip and I can sense some love in the air with her around. We managed to reach Tampines in about 1.5hours. The journey needs a lot of self-control which not many can do that. However, once reached Tampines, all hard work will be paid off and one will feel very RELIEVED. So, we took Bus 3 to Downtown East. The route there was as exciting as riding a miniature roller-coaster. The road is narrow and there are many sharp curbs. The Bus speed is so fast that our AiFang nearly got her butt on the ground. She has to hold on her dear life by holding tightly onto the pole.
We managed to reach Downtown East with any hair lost. We met Darrice and David. Since the oldest of TG did not care for the welfare of the rest, the youngest of TG has the obligation to invite them to the foodcourt to have our dinner. It is afterall not nice to barge into a person's BBQ and demand for food. After a while, JiaLing and RuiXiang came. We asked RuiXiang to go to the chalet first as we are still munching away. Actually, we were sending a spy there to track our prey down. After that, we will slowly pounce on the prey and tear her alive with our razor-sharp claws. Our AiFang ordered her favourite Indian Rojak. HuiQin wasted a lot food and send them flying in some directions. May God forgive her for wasting food as we cannot possibly expect much from a duck using a fork (Duck does not have fingers like humans). We planned our strategy after our meal and went strolling to the chalet with caution eyes singling our prey out.

We did not managed to see her, but we saw our spy. In the split of time, we change of plan. We called the spy to usher our prey to the chalet room before we attack her. We could not risk being seen by so many people. Secretly, we crawled through small alley and jungles. We reached the room and everybody were ready with weapons. One of us knocked the door. We waited a moment.
"Surprise!" we shouted as our prey(XiuHui) opened the door. She was so surprise that she nearly fainted. She turned around and scolded our spy RuiXiang. We did nothing to protect him as family matters is none of our concern. AiFang took sometime to take out our presents for her. Give the poor girl a bit of time as she probably has not recover from her anxiety of the bus ride.
XiuHui introduce us to her group of friends which I cannot remember now. We found a place to sit which is not very nearly to her BBQ's position. Well, that is because we are too shy to sit close to her friends. We started drinking sprite ice provided by XiuHui. However, we soon shifted place as we were occupying some stranger's BBQ pit. XiuHui took the initiative to pour us our drinks. However, she still has not recovered from her surprise and the drinks came spilling to the table. That also had to thank some joker who made her laugh by saying the sensitive word "PRINCESS". XiuHui came back with Uno cards. We changed place again as the table is covered with sprite ice. We started playing while David sponsered cash to buy us some more drinks and snacks. The game was fun and filled with laughter of TG.
Soon, the sky turns dark. Darrice and David went do some errands while AiFang, HuiQin, JiaLing and me stayed at chatted. A while after, Bizi and Bryan came. The six of us sat down and do the only thing we could do; chatted. We chatted until our throats were screaming dry, protesting for liquid. Soon, resue came. Darrice and David came back with more drinks and some KFC's chicken and cheese fries. XiuHui came back with Satays. We ate and chatted for a time being before sabortaging XiuHui. We had a good time reminiscing the times we had in our first chalet together. We bought a t-shirt for her with her lovely face printed on the t-shirt. We demanded her to wear that giving her no grounds to retaliate. She wore it of course and we took a photograph of her wearing the t-shirt and holding a nice book with front cover, a picture of her again. Well, the overall photograph is a Big, Medium and Small XiuHui which is hilarious. We began our photo taking session with models posing in a comical way.
Soon, it was cutting of cake. Darrice bought a mango cake which XiuHui loves and keep drooling at the sight of it. We sang her a birthday song in both English and Mandarin version. She made a wish and tried blowing the candles several times. She is weak, do forgive her. The TG took a group photo. Bizi, AiFang and HuiQin failed in smashing the cake onto XiuHui's face. Subsequently, Bizi and HuiQin began digging the fingers into the cake, squashing some onto XiuHui's face. Camera was clicking away then. The cake was cut and distributed. Bizi suggested that we leave some of the cakes to beautify XiuHui's face again. However, she herself forgot about it and finish her cake. The generous HuiQin gave her some of her cake as she could not finish. Bizi, HuiQin, AiFang and I ran there and favoured XiuHui's face with mango favour. I am sorry XiuHui, I was forced into doing this tragedy. Camera clicking away again.

XiuHui went over to her other friends' side for another cake. She came back with another favour on her face. That was RuiXiang's doing. It was getting late and we were all tired and ready to leave. We bid XiuHui and RuiXiang goodbye as if they were the newlyweds. JiaLing splash XiuHui some water and ran off as if a dog was after her life. A gracious XiuHui did not pursuit her. However, I plead for forgiveness on behalf of JiaLing's act. She did it for our laughter sake. So we parted.
I know everybody had a wonderful night that day. We will be friends forever.
