hi gals.. at my mum's office now.. haix.. last min got one customer gotten into a car accident, so have to come back settle some stuff.. yea.. woke up at 8.45am this morning, so rather tired.. *yawnZzzz*.. wahaha.. hmm.. anyway, y so long nobody come post?? all busy till lik that ah.. hmm, k la, i also bz.. wahaha.. anyway, hope u gals have a NICE n FULFILLING lunar new year, meaning MANY MANY ANGPAOS.. and this time round, not the QUALITY, but QUANTITY ehh?? hahaa... im Kidding.. ok, shall now update where i was yesterday.. went to the temple at cck in the morning.. pray pray to "guanyin pusha" and "tiangong"... pray everything successful loh.. studies.. relationship.. family n frens.. sem exams coming ma.. so muz pray hard.. i also got pray for u gals lehx.. not bad ba.. most importantly... WORLD PEACE.. *wOw!!!* eHHH... okok, muz b humble.. haha.. ok, enough of it.. next, went to my paternal grandma's house.. had lunch there.. followed by, my eldest uncle's house.. and doze off there.. yea, they have nice goodies, nice drink, but... TV spoilt.. =(... haha.. only way out, POWER NAP.. wahahaha... den next, went to my maternal grandma's house.. so crowded.. and stuffy there.. *Phew!* finally, went home n Zzzz... wahahaha.. sianz.. thats my first day of CNY.. haix, sch starting soon le, thats wed.. and my class starts 8am.. nice~.. haha.. ok la, complaints n complaints.. muz be contented.. oh well, gotta go now.. so gals, enjoy fully these 3 days of holiday k.. most importantly, work harder to get MANY MANY ANGPAOS!!! wahahaha..

Ok..let me post it..before i get down to be busy..
hmm..ytd we went out to bugis wor...shop till like hell...headache till want scream for help. Maybe not enough rest these few days ba. When i met my parents later on for supper, on the journey to bukit batok...i closed my eyes. But my mum keep talking to me, when she turned sideway n look at me. Her reaction was,"wah!u got so tired ah!". I think i'm weak. I needed lots of rest de. Hee..think i'm pig. Like what fang say..shopping is more tiring than studies. Hmm..not reali la. Sometimes shopping is fun too.
Wat i have did these few days, i realised i slack alot alot, so this week, is the time to get back on track. Next week there's 2 major tests for me. One of it is java practical test..die liaoz for sure.
hMm..how's life in NYP..hmm..i could say quite enjoyable, time flies really fast..coming to an end of semester two. aNyway bizi,xiu,qin..if u all want meet me for lunch in school or so..do sms me.
My personal mentor told us, to bcum successful in life, is not the result that reali counts, is the journey that we reali enjoying it. True enough, i slack alot this sem, try harder ba all of us. Even end of it, we didnt get what we want. But at least u try before...then wont feel regret.
I think our next gathering will be on 2nd of feb? what time..remind me again, i forgot.

YEsterday is my cousin wedding ... at Amara Hotel[4 * hotel] at Tanjong Pajar there.. The hotel not bad la... but strange lor.. why display a car at the lobby ? haha... then the pub like not bad.. cos it is smokeing-free like that.. i prefer that one... no smoker allow... haha... the dinner is at the 3rd floor... yap.. the toilet lose to the orchard hotel >> that one beside far east one is much grand and wider... but Amara hotel also can pass la... haha... alot of mirror... GOOD !! hehe.. what i have for dinner >>>

" cos to her everyone go wedding dinner must wear skirt... haha.. but i got buy one skirt la... but didnt wear... then she asked again " feel like getting marry when u saw the scene?".. siao zao bor... haha...then take cab go home lor... two cab.. sian.... cos five ppl ma... *QIn*

History of Festival of the kings (Epiphany)

This holiday is celebrated every year on the 6th of January and commemorates the first manifestation of Jesus Christ to the gentiles, represented by the magi (the 3 kings). The evening preceding "Epiphany" is called "Twelfth Night". In France a special cake called "Galette des rois" is prepared for this occasion. The "Galette des rois" is a round puff pastry cake filled with an almond paste, and containing a "feve" (broad bean), which symbolizes the Christ child.

When serving the cake the person or child that finds the "Feve" is crowned king for a day. In the "Patisseries" (bakeries) the "Galette des rois " is sold with a golden crown made of cardboard so, whoever find the "feve" will wear the crown.

Even though it is a Christian holiday in France it is considered more of a national holiday rather than religious and is celebrated by people of all religions.

so yesterday, i went to the french party that start at 3 at nyp and finished at 6 plus... go with that pig and ruth.. it was quite boring at the start.. all wanted to go home... but not very sure if can go without permission.. so finally the member of the french club, start to distribute the almond cream to us.. we all thought that there is only one king and queen for the day.. but it pop up that there is more than 20 pairs of king and queen.. CHEY !!! not exciting and fun ... BTW... i was one of the queen too.. selected by a malay guy from year two or three.. didnt have the chance to ask his name and course.. but he is a funny guy... he likes to joke and play... nice guy... after all the king and queen has been selected.. they have to play five round of games... the first round : picking all then most buttons in a box that is full of paper... me and my "king" won.. we have picked 22 buttons .. and we are still in the second round which only about 10 pair are still the game.. ruth is also the queen and she still in round 2 too... then finally.. round three.. i didnt particpate.. dunno spin about five times with the stick and walk about a distance and throw your shoes in the basket.. LAME !! but we still in the game.. then is the word guessing.. my "king" and i have to take turns to draw and guess the word.. Out of 3 question, we answered 2... not bad.. haha... then finally the top 5 pairs.. i still in the game.. haha... then this is the finally round.. Question and Answer... Asking about France stuff.... who will know sia !!! but i answered one question.. What is the famous france perfumes... Ans : CHANEL.. hehe... one point for my group.. throughout the games... it was quite fun.. and i won the second prize.. haha... a pail of chocolate.. i gave to my "king".. haha... EOS !!! *QIn*
