hello!

TG is planning to go JB this coming december! Besides loving to go toilets to pee, TG loves to shop cheap cheap stuff and eat nice nice food too, hence the trip! =D and means we can spend time tgt again! woohoo! Sounds interesting? Read on!

Even when you are back from work, it's like you are pretending and why do you bother to smile at me? You told me that you will treat me for dinner during my birthday. SO WHAT?
All i want as a present and my wish, for both events from you, which is to move out on the 10th April and that's so simple. That will be my best present for the year 2009.
What can i wish for on my birthday? I don't want to wish for uncertain things that might or might not happen.

WHY MOVING OUT ON 10TH APRIL IS SO MISERABLE.

I went down to check on which date is good and advisable for us to move to the new flat. I was given dates of 28th march and 10th april. Instead of moving in on 28th march, due to some delay in some area, i decide to just move one the 10th. In the first place, 10th is a weekday and it's friday. Upon checking the calendar, it was Good Friday and a public holiday. I was so happy that i can move out finally. Before that, when i went to check on the dates, the person ask for my husband's and my year of birth, and what is our age. He can tell me that on 28th is a good date to move cause it's good for the both of us. There's no "BREAK" in chinese to the whole family. And our children are very smart, they will be working as someone big in the future. There is timing as well for moving. It's from 7-10am in the morning. Is 3 month chu 2 (in chinese).
I ask for another date just for in case if i was unable to move out one 28th. He search and flip through the book and saw 10th april.
It is 3 month chu 15 (in chinese). It is also a good date. Good for everyone and the same as "BREAK" is not present for moving house. The saying for the children are the same. Our kids are smart and etc. The timing is 7-8am in the morning and 3-6pm in the afternoon. Just that from 3-5pm we cannot fix up the bed. We can only fix and tidy the bed after 5pm.
I was so happy in the first place when i told him (DAVID) that 10th april is a Good Friday, a public holiday. I have the save message that said:
" Ya, can move but maybe he got work. ... ... "

Guess what, after telling me one week plus later, he came to tell me that it's the qing ming. It's 3 month chu 15. I don't really understand the lunat calendar. I told him i was wasting time and money and effort to go down to Shi Ma Lu to look for dates to move house. Just because it's qing ming ji i have to delay and wait until it's over then only i can move? Why can't he just listen to me and do things to make me happy. Having that 10th april is a good date to us. I asked him to go down with me next saturday morning to ask the person to explain to him again but he don't want. Why doesn't he give me a chance to let him know that 10th april is a good date to move for us? Is it that he don't dare? After marrying for one year, i don't feel so much happiness to what a married woman should get.

Qing ming is one day or for one whole month? I never get respect to what i do cause i'm not working and i'm not bringing back pay cheque home as well. Therefore i have no say in the house in the family, to me i just feel so EXTRA and did i make a wrong choice?

God please help me. I need help to get through with such a life..

One more thing his uncle who come over the house every saturday, doesn't have the right to kiss my daughter. I hate people kissing my daughter. This is the second time he kissed my daughter. I swear i won't allow him to carry my daughter anymore as long as i live. The first time he want to kiss her, he ask the father can kiss or not. The father is so... that he don't even know how to protect his own daughter. The father just sit down there quiet and let him kiss. How can he compare my relatives when i just meet up with him during occassions. And his uncle who will come over to yishun every saturday. After moving out, i will not come back on saturday to allow him to kiss my daughter anymore.

Guess you guys are shocked to see so much happenings. There are more and i'm trying to let go bit by bit for what his parents are doing. I respect them so i don't say them in the face. I won't do things like what he did to my parents. Though i might not like it at times but i try to close one eye now. I try to let things go with his parents but not others.

I have advise that it's misunderstanding and don't bother so much. Whatever he want to do then let him do lor. As a wife, i helped out to wash the floor of the new flat. It's so tiring for me. My arms are aching and i'm sleepy and tired. Did i complain anything? No cause it's my new flat. Whatever it takes i should just give up and bear with him until i work. And i swear i must earn as much as him and let him know that i don't have to listen to him or he should expect me to follow what he said.

We can't actually celebrate her birthday on her actual bird-day cos she got exam so we decided to put back the celebration on week3 of December, 20th Dec 2008 to celebrate Soek's 21th birthday !! (OMG, now den she is 21 years old?! Aifang going 22nd le... SADDED)..

Birthday girl want to go Sentosa and have picnic cos we going to have a chalet on the coming January... So bring food, drinks, games, birthday deco, boyfriends, guy friends or whatever on that day...

And we also having Pre-Christmas celebration on that day too.. So people need to bring gifts for exchange... Include non-TG members.... Budget for the Christmas gift will be $10-$20...

A Traditional Chinese Wedding Ceremony

This is a traditional chinese wedding ceremony held in Pahang, Raub, a small village in Ruab.

ABOUT PAHANG

GEOGRAPHY

Let's get back to topic. Talking about the traditional chinese wedding ceremony. It is very different from what we see in Singapore. What we can do here are limited as compared to a village. My this relative is their only son getting marry therefore it's quite grand. Their wedding dinner are held separately, the bride will be on the night before the traditional ceremony. For the bride's side, the dinner was held in an air conditional resturants. A special part will be when there is KTV sessions for diners to sing for the bride and groom. Some were singing so awfully lousy as they were screaming and shouting. And when the dishes are finished half-way through, the groom's side parents have to leave. They cannot finish the meal for a certain reason which i've forgotten already. Back to the groom's house, there are people (who are their neighbourhoods) were invited to have a spread dinner to celebrate. Two person wedding involves so many people as this is a grand event.

Back to the next day where the ceremony starts. The groom will leave home to the bride's side to fetch her over. The groom will bring a male chicken along. For what reason? (will be announced later) For the period when the groom is away, I don't know what happen as well. Around 11am, I can hear the horn of their cars coming in. At the moment you hear the horns, it means there are turning into the road to the house. And when the car stop outside the house, the fire cracker was light to bring the joy of the couple.

After the fire cracker, those who accompanied the bride and groom back will enter the house and they will sit down at the corner for their snacks and drinks which are prepared before hand. The bride and groom were sitting inside the car for some time for the boy to open their door and let them out.

The boy in blue shirt is the groom's elder sister's son. The other little boy is the groom's second sister son. By the way, in the family, there are five siblings. Two elder sister, one male (groom), and two younger sisters. A big family. At this time, the boy will knock on the glass window and ask for a red packet first in order to open the door for them.

After the couple entered the house, they continued with the praying and they were resting and awaiting for the tea ceremony.

As mentioned above, the groom will bring a male chicken over as well. The male chicken will bring back a female chicken and this pair of chicken are not allowed to be kill and eat. This pair is to live till they die. In Singapore, the newly wedded couple's room are prepared before hand and might even be slept on before. But in their custom, the bride will bring over her pillow and only get the things prepared at that time.

Due to the number of people involved, it is time for Singapore people to have their tea. First of all will be my grandparents.

Following next, will be my parents together with my auntie and uncle husband and wife.

After the tea ceremony, each couple was given a pair of towel. Might be as a souvenir for everyone. At this time, the groom's mother was calling out for those who are not married to queue up for collection of red packets. After hearing this announcement, everyone were asking us to go collect. David was thinking why there is such a practice that requires that unmarried to collect red packets. My cousins were shy as well. But i took the lead and bring them in to collect. It was as a yi si yi si thing. A red packet from the bride and a red packet from the groom. Each red packet contains RM 2. We can't expect too much inside the red packets as they will be broke by then after distributing the red packets.

Lunch was next and there were so many people sitting to eat. I did not take the picture of how their systems work as to serve the food out. After eating, the people will clear the plates and will wash them on the spot at a corner and not in the kitchen.

Dinner time. It was held in a basketball court in the community center. There is no air condition but fans. It was a cooling night and the food was nice. Among the uncles, one of them is a chef. He was the one who lead his team to cook for 60 plus tables of diners who attended the dinner. The same, there was KTV for diners to sing and eat. Don't be surprised by people in the village, they do have slides of their wedding photos plus photos that that the bride and groom from young till the day they date. They started dating in year 1999 and held their wedding on 2007.

After dinner, we walked back to their house. Along the road, the lights were dim and it was raining, a small light rain. The younger cousins were so happy as they do not usually walk in the rain. One of them was saying he was bathing.

The following day will be the day that we leave back to Singapore. In the morning, we decide to have breakfast with the chef uncle. We had the bak ku tah. After that we had a tour around the market, where we can see some people selling pork in their cars. Look so disgusting. Then we reach the chef's house.

The view from the outside of the house. It was facing the mountains and the clouds was so beautiful. Pahang was sort of located on a mountain and therefore such a view is present.

My auntie loves the view and said she would want to buy a house there for retirement. The air is fresh and people living there are peaceful and happy.

Look at the aunties and uncles and my grandmother, they were plucking chilli padis that were planted by the chef's family. There are chilli padi, mango tree, lady's finger, pineapple, and others.

At the groom's house, they plant vegetables like cabbages, kang kong, etc. My auntie and my mother brought back cabbages. The differences from their cabbages and what are available in the supermarkets or wet markets, the vegetables are orangic and no fertilizers. The vegetables are healthy and top rated vegetables.

We brought back one carton of mushrooms. The mushroom is a big piece in a tin and it's nice to eat. Not available in Singapore i think. Had two big packets of peanuts.

Well, that's what most happening during the trip to Malaysia and that is to Pahang. Hope you guys are able to understand and would be able to understand other country's traditional culture that is not practiced in Singapore anymore.

We'll reach Sentosa around 2pm. So those who want to go there by themselves, do reach by 2pm. =)

Things to bring:

1) Everybody please bring a mat to sit on. If you got, please bring ok. Don't just bring one. Bring as many as you got.

2) Who has a ball? Not testicles la. But real playing ball. Please tag if you or you able to borrow one. And who has discus? These are all for recreation. So just bring whatever games that you think it's suitable. But do tag on what you want to bring. So that we won't have a double counting.

3) Food wise, think we just eat our lunch before meeting. Then we just buy some snacks there. Drinks wise, though Darrice settling, we can bring our own also.

4) Bring extra clothes. Once again, those got bikini, must wear ok. Haha..

5) Bring an umbrella. Small one. Just in case. But we can always find a spot nearest to a shelter.

I think that's about it. Can't think of anymore le. Anybody got any suggestion to add?

Well, this morning I must have slipped or something, because I fell over the edge. But I got lucky, and caught the railing of the balcony on the floor below me. I knew I couldn't hang on for very long, when suddenly this man burst out onto the balcony. I thought for sure I was saved, when he started beating on me and kicking me. I held on the best I could until he ran into the apartment and grabbed a hammer and started pounding on my hands. Finally I just let go, but again I got lucky and fell into the bushes below, stunned but all right. Just when I was thinking I was going to be okay, this refrigerator comes falling out of the sky and crushes me instantly, and now I'm here."

Once again, Peter had to concede that that sounded like a pretty horrible death.

The third man came to the front of the line, and again Peter explained that heaven was full and asked for his story. "Picture this," says the third man, "I'm hiding inside a refrigerator..."

What is true love by the way?I guess each and every one of us has a different definition of what is love in our heart.

There are some who r willing to do anything for their gf to please em and make em happy, while there r some struggling to save their relationship no matter what as long as for the sake of just one chance.Love is such a complicated things and even a mystery to mi.

Everyone of us has different in beliefs and attitudes.Like qin,she strongly believe that god created Man as a pair so one surely will find the other suitable partner in life.Like mi,i believe in fairytale.I believe in love at first sight.For mi mum,haha..she told mi once that as a guy,jia xing personality is like this so there will surely be a girl who has the same personality as jia xing.We dun noe onli..funny right?I believe that once they have find the right one,the ending would be like in the fairytale..happily ever after..hahaha.=) (the reason i hv this feeling coz i went out with qin and heard frm her frenzs love story)

Surprise gals!i'm here again..hohoho..maybe i should say this is the place where i feel safe that it could be mi shoutbox as well as mi diary.Oops..i think it's too chin for u guys to understand i think.

Ytd,angeline and i went to ITE to visit our fav teachers and indeed,i finally saw them as i previously visited them alot of time but they were not in sch.The moment i saw them,mi eyes started to filled with waters..mi feeling were so complicated at that moment..missed them?...definitely!happy?...of course!sad?....ya coz how i yearned for em to teach mi and be mi teachers again..overall,i just missed mi ITE life!am i veri useless?well,it's up to u guys to judge.Actually the 1st person who noe about mi feeling was qin..i jus nd to find someone to talk to and i find her.haha..even when i reached home,i jus cried too.Maybe i'm jus too emotional.

As usual, we talked about the same things and stuffs again..one look and kelvin tan(form cher)noe that i'm having alot of stress..haha..hmm..he's still the one who noe mi best afterall.As for mi marketing cher,he keep hao lian to his other students that his ex-students came and see him and i jus told him what's there to hao lian la..and this was how we begin our fights till we separated.For the rest,i will keep the details to miself..hehe..inside mi heart,i noe both of em missed us and feel touched..cared and concerned for us too!

Hi gals..reply to all..things really turn out veri bad and serious le bizi.In the first place,mi classmates dun dare to talk to mi much coz they said i got the "fierce look"so they dun talk to me le..as if i care..i dun care about those kids at all..they r too young..too immature to think of anything.i really cant get along with em at all..it's torturing me to be with em..plus this incident,i finally saw through their truth look..one word to describe.."CMI".haha..i also told mi frenzs that why dun i cry also..then they will confused who is right or wrong but the prob is..i'm not the one who's wrong u see..so y should i cry then?

Ya..i told mi lecturer le..they will mark accordingly. ya xiu,after how mel has treated mi,i also think that she deserved it and of course she wont be in mi grp anymore..she always cried..veri irritating one..one of mi lecturer wanted to speak to her..before she even speak to lecturer,she cried again..and the whole class jus flocked to her.she jus cried to gain everybody trust..she obviously wanted to ruin me as well as mi frenzs.

Ya dar..i also dun care what outsider think also..it doesn affect me at all..i'm not like mi frenzs planning everything to let the whole class noe that not to deceived by mel innocent look.i jus take natural take its course.i'm sure one day when mi classmates do proj with her,the prob in her will still be the same.

Overall,mi classmates are beyond hopeless..they r just followers..nvm,i jus hope that this incident will over soon..and i really really heck care about what they think..to me,they r jus kids.i wont fight with em.Hope that they dun do sth overboard..if not,i will take action..

Hey gals,i hv sth to share with u guys..i wanna shout out loud in this blog as i'm goin to explode!*bomb* Haiz..recently,due to the proj, there's some incident happened in mi grp.As u all noe,there will surely be free rider where it concerned about proj right?ya..so..mel was the one who is that free rider.

She didn do her part properly at all..jus copy and paste whatever sample lecturer was given us and that was supposed to be copyright as lecturer warned us before not to copy.So..ya..i dunno where is her ears listening to..It's not that i didn ask her to redo..the moment u asked her to redo,the nx qns asked would be"how to do nia..i dunno how to do nia...".It made me feel so irritating.In the end,i redo everything for her.Whenever we did proj, she always got msg or phone call..and that is the reason she gave us for leaving early..she's the kind of leaving early, doing little stuffs..and the one who offline early also(conference in msn). doin this much,she will think as though like doin TTHHIISS much!that's the prob with her.In the end,i did passed her for the peer evaluation.as for mi other frenzs..damn low as in 10 or 15 out of 50.She got to find out somehow anyway,she cried..kp picking on mi..mi frenzs quarreled..i mean they jus tell her the truth and at the same time told her to stopped picking on mi.Again..she cried and ran out..soon,the whole class noe that mi grp bullied her.The whole class..jus without finding out the truth..sided her!thinking that she 's the one who is right u noe..it's so unfair to me!Common sense..the whole class was deceived by her innocent look..a girl who jus cried and will win everything that kind..onli mi grp noe that she was the scheming sort and damn sarcastic..too bitchy the way she talked to u.really..as i trust her..always her gd frenz..being used by her..haha..who asked me to be so stupid..always being make use by others and get hurt in the end.
